Looking from the islands, we reflected on how engaging in commonality-building practices makes us happier.

‘Building the commons’ which involved creating a commoning area in the middle of the city (exhibition venue in Wan Chai).

Building the commons. Building the commons (interactive exhibition) Visitors to the exhibition were invited to engage in an exchange process. What kind of feelings are triggered when people find themselves bartering? We started the experiment by leaving three bananas from Peng Chau. The first visitors could take the bananas but had to leave something in exchange. And so on, and so on... What would you give in exchange of a Peng Chau banana?
