‘Finding the commons’ is a mapping experience that introduce participants to the observation of daily life and commoning practices in Peng Chau.

The activity engages participants in a playful hands-on experience where they can experience mapping and using tools of urban studies and ethnography to navigate and gain knowledge about the environment that surrounds them.

「探索共有」是一項製圖體驗活動，引導參與者觀察坪洲的日常生活與共創實踐。
這項活動以實際體驗的方式，讓參與者透過實際操作，運用城市研究與民族誌的工具進行地圖繪製，在探索周邊環境的過程中獲得知識。

Finding the commons. Participants to the mapping workshop were brought to investigate a very widespread commoning pratice on Peng Chau: caring for community animals.

With an investigation leaflet that mimics the format and research process of Islanders zine, participants took a day or two to walk around the island, observe and record. Through this process, they developed a new type of attention to their environment.
